The Capital Regional Development Council has deep, succesful and collaborative business and development lending experieince throughout New Hampshire. We highlight collaborative because in a small state we have found that the more resources the better to serve the evolving small business and development community. CRDC has been an SBA 504 lender since 1996. CRDC also deploys USDA Intermediary Relending (IRP) funds and various other direct lending programs originally capitalized by HUD CDBG, the EPA Brownfields Fund, NH State tax credits and balance sheet funds. CRDC maintains a total outstanding loan portfolio of approximately 150 loans totaling $40 million. We typically fund eight to ten 504 loans and ten to fifteen direct loans annually totaling $5-7 million from all programs. CRDC has a seasoned staff or four profesionals with experience in complex and creative deal structuring. As a small staff, everyone does everything including business development, lender relations, underwriting, closing and servicing of loans. This provides the borrower and lender with one point of contact that can respond quickly to requests. No bureaucratic back office or complex decision making protocol to delay requests.
